Bookkeeping services in Nepal

Most businesses do not need a bigger accounts department. They need the books to be right, on time, every month, without anyone having to chase. We maintain the records, meet the filings, and hand management a monthly pack that says something.

Who this is for

  • Businesses whose books are always a month or two behind
  • Owners who find out about a problem when the auditor does
  • Companies growing faster than their accounts staff
  • Foreign-owned entities needing Nepali books kept to a parent's standard

What it includes

  • Daily and monthly bookkeeping

Sales, purchases, expenses and journals recorded in your accounting system on an agreed timetable — not in a rush before a deadline.

  • Bank, receivable and payable reconciliation

Every account reconciled monthly, with differences investigated rather than carried forward.

  • VAT and TDS filing

Monthly VAT returns and e-TDS returns prepared and filed, with the tax deposited by the 25th.

  • Payroll processing

Salary computation, TDS on salary, SSF or provident fund and gratuity, and the statutory deductions.

  • Monthly management accounts

Profit and loss, balance sheet and cash position, with commentary on what moved and why.

  • Year-end and audit support

Working papers and schedules organised so your auditor works from evidence rather than requests.

How it works

  1. 01

    We review what exists

Your current records, system and filing position. If something is behind, we say how far and what it takes to catch up.

  2. 02

We agree the timetable and the fee

A fixed monthly fee based on transaction volume, with the closing date and what you receive each month written down.

  3. 03

    We take over the routine

Records maintained in your system, under your ownership. Filings met. Nothing depends on you remembering a date.

  4. 04

    You get a monthly pack

The numbers, the cash position, and the two or three things that need your attention.

Questions people ask

How much does bookkeeping cost in Nepal?
A fixed monthly retainer, set by transaction volume and whether payroll and filings are included. Small businesses sit at the lower end; a company with multiple bank accounts, inventory and payroll sits higher. We quote after seeing the volume, and the fee does not move unless the volume does.
Do we have to change our accounting software?
No. We work inside whatever you already use, and the data stays yours. If the setup is genuinely holding you back we will say so, but changing systems is a separate decision.
Our books are a year behind. Can you still take it on?
Yes. Catch-up work is quoted separately from the monthly retainer, because it is a different job. We will tell you how far behind you actually are before you commit to anything.
Will you also be our auditor?
No. We do not carry out statutory audit. We prepare and support; your appointed auditor forms an independent opinion. That separation is the point.
Can you keep books for a foreign parent company?
Yes. We maintain Nepali statutory records and report in the format the group requires, so the parent gets numbers it recognises.
